Pain Management

Pain Management

Everyone experiences pain at one point or another and this unpleasant feeling often lets you know that something may be wrong. Effective treatment of this pain has a direct impact on your quality of life and that of your loved ones. Our pain management specialists at St. Mary’s Ambulatory Surgery Center use cutting edge technology and techniques to alleviate your pain.

There are two types of pain:

  1. Acute pain – This pain is typically of short duration, usually lasting less than a week or two. It usually ends after the underlying cause is treated or has been resolved.
  2. Chronic pain – This pain typically persists for months or even years.

If you are experiencing chronic or acute pain we may be able to help with your pain management. Following a pain assessment with one of our pain management specialists, they will develop an individual plan to help manage your pain.

Pain Management Procedures:

  • Epidural steroid injection
  • Spinal cord stimulator
  • Therapeutic nerve block
